The Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha Foundation’s

The Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha Foundation announces the academic year 2022, (batch three)’s ten grant awardees from Secondary 1, Secondary 4 and from Vocational Studies 1 for bachelor’s degree completion.

Realising the importance of health, religion, and education, all of which are essential to youth development, the Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha Foundation has provided the financial opportunity to students with good behaviour but without funding. These grant awardees will be able to continue their studies in Secondary 1, Secondary 4, or Vocational Studies 1 until the completion of their bachelor’s degree.

In the academic year of 2022, the committee of the Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha Foundation has carefully examined applications from all over Thailand and selected students with the qualifications as stated in the Foundation Stipulations, i.e., they must be students wishing to further their studies in Secondary 1, Secondary 4, or Vocational Studies 1. They must be students with no funding from their family, or students with no parents, or those with caretaker(s) with less than 150,000 baht per year. They must also live in poor, remote regions, with little or no transportation. The Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha Foundation was established with steadfast commitment and objectives of Khun Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, the late CEO of the King Power Foundation, that is, to create opportunities and possibilities for the society. It therefore brought an educational grant project into being. Well-behaved but underfunded students have been selected for the support. The project has been running for three consecutive years and has provided as many as 32 grants.
