The “We Love our King” Yellow Wristbands, Consignment One
On the highly auspicious occasion of the Sixtieth Anniversary Celebration of His Majesty the late King Bhumibol’s accession
to the Throne in the year 2005, the King Power Foundation
produced one million wristbands, typeset in dual languages, with “We Love Our King” in Thai (Rao Rak Phra Chao Yu Hua), and
“Long Live the King” in English. The group invited the public to donate 100 Baht for each wristband, and the proceeds, which totalled 105 million Baht, were officially presented to
His Majesty the late King Rama IX on 24 November,2005 at the
Phra Tamnak Piamsuk, Klaikangwon Palace, in the province of Prachuab Kirikan.
The Nation’s Tribute to His Majesty the late King
Following the success of the initial wristband project, the King Power Foundation implemented the Tribute to the King project in 2008, giving the public an opportunity to write a tribute to be presented to the His Majesty the late King Bhumibol, in exchange for a wristband, for a donation of 100 Baht. This project raised over 814 million Baht, which was presented to His Majesty the late King, along with a laptop containing all the well-wishes of the entire nation. The ceremony was organised on 7 February, 2008, at the Chitrlada Palace, Bangkok.
The Sixtieth Anniversary Celebrations of His Late Majesty’s Ascension to the Throne Watch Project (Initial)
In 2006, to celebrate the Sixtieth Anniversary Celebration of
His Majesty the late King Bhumibol’s ascension to the Throne,
the King Power Foundation, with the late King’s consent,
teamed up with the world’s most distinguished watch
manufacturers to create special edition watches in honour of
this anniversary. The Foundation received royal permission
to use the royal monograms to decorate the watch faces and
the Royal Emblem on the back of each watch. Sixty limited edition
Parmigiani Fleurier watches were created for this occasion, raising
30 million Baht in donations. All proceeds were officially presented
to His Majesty the late King on 18 March, 2006, at the Pra Tamnak Piamsuk, the Klaikangwon Palace, in the province of
Prachuab Kirikan.

In 2006, to celebrate the Sixtieth Anniversary Celebration of
His Majesty the late King Bhumibol’s ascension to the Throne,
the King Power Foundation, with the late King’s consent,
teamed up with the world’s most distinguished watch
manufacturers PATEK PHILIPPE, SEIKO and ORIENT, to create
special edition watches in honour of this anniversary. The
Foundation received royal permission to use royal monograms
to decorate the watch faces and the Royal Emblem on the
back of each watch. The undertaking raised 20 million Baht in
donations. All proceeds were officially presented to His Majesty
the late King on 1 August, 2011, at the Chalermprakiat Building, Siriraj Hospital.
The “I love the King” Youth Project
To celebrate the Sixtieth Anniversary of His Majesty the Late King’s ascension to the Throne in the year 2007, the King Power Foundation organised a youth campaign in which students of primary and secondary levels were invited to write well-wishes to the King. As many as 999 scholarships valued at 10,000 Bht each, totalling almost 10 million Baht, were awarded. The grants were sourced from “The Nation’s Tribute to the King” project. Following the deadline for writing submissions in December 2006, with kind assistance of an academic referee from Chulalongkorn University Language Institute in the selection process, qualified recipients of scholarships were nominated. The reception ceremony took place on 9 September, 2007, in the Main Auditorium of Chulalongkorn University.
Muan San Mongkol, We love our King Royal Sacred Element Project
In 2008, under Royal consent, the King Power Foundation organised a project entitled “Sacred Element”, in which the general public was invited to write tributes and blessings including words such as “We love our King” and “With love, loyalty, and best wishes to
His Majesty”. More than 3 million postcards bearing such messages were sent to the King on behalf of the people from the Foundation. Sacred amulets, in Thai, Muan San Mongkol, were made by invoking His Majesty the late King Bhumibhol Adulyadej’s portrait, together with a number of blessed Buddhist icons from temples in Thailand and in India. The Sixtieth Anniversary Celebration of His Majesty’s Accession to the Throne’s official emblem was also engraved on the back of the amulets. Donations of 100 million Baht were presented to His Majesty on 1 August, 2011, at Chalermprakiat Building, Siriraj Hospital.

‘Song-Ngan’ Project
His Late Majesty’s Royal Replica ‘Song-Ngan’ Project
In the year 2013, the King Power Foundation was granted permission from His Majesty the late King Bhumibol to implement
a project of building statues of His Majesty “The King Song-Ngan” (Lifework). Cast in bronze and standing at 60 centimetres tall, with
a weight of about 7 kilos, 9,999 pieces of these works were created, with a donation of 50,000 Baht per statue to those interested to own a piece. All proceeds, after all costs and expenses had been deducted, were presented to His Majesty the late King.
